I love having a shop I can take my things like this. My friend will just do these things for me in a matter of minutes.
Easier than buying marginally good tools to just barely get it done. Even if it costs $10-15, its better to know its all good to go.

well if the steering box was still good we would of as well but because it's stranded in my garage you make due and this is the third pump I've done so I know what I'm doing.

i dont usually take the car, ill take the parts off. I had the PS pulley done, just pulled the pump off and took it there.
Today i drove over with the AC recharge so he could make sure the right amount was going in, and he could make sure it was all good. Now i know exactly how to do it myself next time. Makes a ton more sense than amy other way.
We trade work, so its all good, i can go bug him whenever.

ah gotcha ya myself being a 19(turn 20 tomorrow) year old with no job and no friends like that my dad and I do all of it ourselves. Gives you more sense of accomplishment when you do it yourself
